Graduate Schemes

Half-day - Onsite course

Disability Awareness Training for Graduate Schemes

Course Overview

Starting a graduate scheme often means learning quickly, working with different people, and building confidence in a professional environment. This disability awareness training is designed to help graduates develop a clearer understanding of disability, inclusion, and workplace responsibilities from the start of their careers.

This practical course gives graduate scheme participants the knowledge and confidence to understand disability in the workplace, challenge common misconceptions, communicate more appropriately, and contribute to a more inclusive working culture. It helps graduates build awareness not just of legal responsibilities, but of everyday good practice, including workplace barriers, reasonable adjustments, assistive technology, and inclusive communication.

The training is designed to be engaging, accessible, and relevant to early-career professionals. Rather than being overly theoretical, it focuses on practical understanding and real workplace application, helping graduates feel more confident in how to work inclusively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
